Control your PC with Siri

Turn off, sleep, restart or wake your computer by just talking to your iPhone — or with a tap from your home screen. It all runs through a single shortcut you set up once, named in your language.

Siri Shortcuts come with Turn Off PC Pro or the Power Pack. For the other hands-free options they unlock — widgets, the Quick Settings tile and Control Center — see the Quick Access & Shortcuts guide.

Create your voice command

  1. Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap +, then Add Action.
  3. Search Turn Off PC and choose an action — Shutdown, Sleep, Restart or Wake Up.
  4. Pick the device to control.
  5. Tap the name at the top and rename the shortcut to anything you like.
  6. That's it — say "Hey Siri, <that name>" and it runs.

Because the name is yours, Siri works in whatever language you speak — there are no fixed phrases to memorise.

🖥️ Try it: a "Turn off the office" command

  1. Add Action → Turn Off PC → Shutdown
  2. Device → Office
  3. Rename it to "Turn off the office" (or "Apaga la oficina", "Éteins le bureau"… your call)
  4. Say "Hey Siri, turn off the office" → the Office PC powers off.
